I want to thank everyone who has recently sent in donations to Sew Generous. I am really sorry but I have not had any time to post.
I would like to send a special thanks to the girls at PLC Croydon for their two wonderful quilt donations. Thank you girls.
I would also like to thank Marlene Van der Walt for her huge box of quilts, fabrics and blocks. This will keep us busy for a while.
We have had some very generous donors, in fact we are so overwhelmed with quilts, blocks and fabrics that I don’t actually have any room to store them all.
For this reason we ask that you please not send us any more donations for the time being.
Effie and I will be working over this coming year to complete all the current quilts we have, and making new quilts from the fabrics and blocks that have been donated. We want to make sure that all the donations we received get made into quilts and donated to the Children’s Hospital.
At the end of the year, we will be reviewing Sew Generous and letting you know if we will be continuing this On-line Charity Quilting Bee.
I have so much going on in my life in regards to my health and one of my children needing extra help with school that I have little time to work on this wonderful project.
